![]() The Regina Marathon Canoe Club is hosting an upstream/downstream river race at the Qu'Appelle River in Craven, Saskatchewan. September 21, 2019, 1:30PM Join us and the beautiful fall scenery for a fun and competitive paddle. We will have a two phase start at race time:
Cost is $10 per person. We will host a complimentary snack and hydration bar after the race in conjunction with our AGM and major announcements for next season! The La Ronge Canoe Club’s annual canoe race to be held Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Eagle Point Marina.
There will be a 17.75-km race (with 3 portages) starting at 10:00 a.m. and a 7-km race (with no portages) starting at 11:00 a.m. You might also want to stay over to Sunday, August 25 when La Ronge’s annual Freeze, Breeze and Wheeze triathlon will be held. The triathlon starts Sunday at 11:00 a.m. it has a 500 metre swim, a 20-km bike and a 6-km run.

![]() To make best use of daylight hours and warmer temperatures, group paddle times have been shifted for the fall paddling season. Wednesday Night Group Paddle: 6:00pm *Lights/headlamps are a good idea as we may be out at dusk. Sunday Group Paddle: 1:00pm *Meet at the boathouse as per usual. Please also keep in mind that water temperatures will be getting colder, so dress appropriately, bring spare clothing and think about wearing your PFD, especially after dark or on colder days. Happy fall paddling! An invitation from a new paddling club in the province - The Kistahpinanihk Paddling Club from Prince Albert. Come cruise with us; on September 23 Canoe Kayak Saskatchewan is hosting a fun wrap up to the 2017 competition season! We are hosting a truly multidisciplinary event on Wascana lake. All types of canoes, kayaks and stand up paddle boards are welcome. You must be a registered CKS member to participate. The day will begin with a timed 2km pursuit event which will help seed groups of 6-8 boats, for the longer event that will take you to all the corners of the lake.
