We are a dedicated group of paddlers passionate about making canoes go fast!
Marathon paddling is a fantastic way to keep fit and refine your boat skills. We mostly paddle racing shells (pro-boats) which are sleek, efficient and tippy. If you are new to marathon we can start you out in a more stable Jensen canoe - but once you get the feel of a racing shell you will never want to go back to a recreational boat! We share a bay in the Victoria Boathouse with the Recreational Division of the Saskatoon Canoe Club. We have a good fleet of C2's and C1's and all the equipment you need to paddle them. Marathon members are a small but diverse group - we have people who come purely for the fitness and community, and those who are training for international events. Come join us - new paddlers are always welcome! |
