SCC Saskatoon Marathon Races
Saskatoon Rec & Rookie Race

10am – 12pm
All ages, boat types and levels of experience welcome! This is a fun, casual morning of 3 short races (do one or do them all, your choice!) where we pair rookies with experienced marathon paddlers so everyone has a fun time. Come alone or bring your paddling friends. All equipment will be provided unless you wish to use your own.
Registration is at 10am at the Victoria boathouse. Cost is $10/person for the morning, kids age 16 and under FREE. Cash only please. Races will begin about 10:30 and run in sequence. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
If you don’t want to race but are willing to help, please consider volunteering. For more information contact Edith at marathon@saskatooncanoeclub.org

Saskatoon Races
July 15th & 16th 2023
Welcome to the annual Saskatoon July Race Weekend!
All events based out of the Victoria Boathouse in Saskatoon. All ages (kids too!) and human powered boats welcome. Registration and payment will be onsite (cash only please).
Snacks available and prizes awarded (by lottery) after the races.

Cranberry Punch
Held traditionally on the Saturday of the second weekend of July, the Cranberry Punch is a downstream marathon race along the South Saskatchewan River approximately 20km in length starting south of city and finishing at the Victoria Boat House in Saskatoon. |
Eb's Classic
Held on the Sunday of the same weekend as the Cranberry Punch, the Eb's Classic is a multiple loop (upstream and downstream) along the South Saskatchewan River starting and ending at the Victoria Boat House in Saskatoon. |
SCC Rec. and Rookie Race
Held on the second weekend in September, the SCC Rec. and Rookie Race is a one day event that encourages recreational paddlers, marathon paddlers, and paddle families (kids welcome!), to paddle a series of short, fun canoe racing events. This is open to all levels of paddlers and all types of boats. |
