Any combination of age, sex, doubles/singles, canoe, & kayak can participate

Several events throughout the day- something for everyone!
Multi-boat flag relay (one team plants the flag, the other team captures it)
Portage race (includes paddling and running)
Sprint race (~300m)
Mini-marathon (~45min paddle on the river)
TEAMS
Veteran paddlers encouraged to pair with rookies and newer paddlers.

LUMSDEN RACE 2015
This is a reminder to all paddlers that the Annual 'Lumsden to Craven' race will take place on Saturday, June 20 starting at the Lumsden Park.
The race begins at 11:00 am.
Registration begins at 10:00 am. The cost will be $20 and includes a post race meal hosted by Merv Woods.

UPDATE***
Due to low water levels at Lumsden, the RMCC June 20 race will start from and end at the Craven rink parking lot. Race time is 11:00 am, registration 10:00 am. The format is the same out and back rules as for the last four years. Race fees are $20.00 which include a hamburger, salad and fruit at the Craven bar. Race fees for under 19 are $10.00 (unfortunately under 19 are not allowed in the bar).

The Regina Rookie Race
The annual Regina Rookie Race will take place on Saturday October 4th 2014
Registration:
Registration will start at 10:15am. Meet at the Qu'Appelle River next to the Craven curling rink parking lot.
The cost is $15.00 per paddler, which will include race registration and a light post-race lunch.
Course:
The race starts at 11:00am. The course will be the usual up stream around a buoy and back.
Lunch and Clinic:
After the race, make your way to the Lumsden Ball park for a light lunch followed by a clinic conducted by Mike Vincent in the QuAppelle channel at Lumsden.

20th Annual La Ronge Canoe Race
This is an advance notice that our 20th annual La Ronge Canoe Race will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014, starting from the Eagle Point Marina. Once again, there will be a 7-km race (no portages) and a 17-km race (3 portages). Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. with the 17-km race starting at 10:00 a.m. and the 7-km race starting at 11:00 a.m. All types of canoes are welcome. Good prizes and a free barbecue lunch!
This event is open to all paddlers (you do not have to be a Canoe Club member to participate). Please pass the word to your friends. Everyone is welcome.

The race will start and end in ... Please note that the race start location has changed, it will now start in LUMSDEN (ball park)
The post race lunch will take place at the Lumsden Ball Park in Lumsden, SK
Registration:
Registration is at 10:15am (in Lumsden), the cost is $10.00 (race without lunch) or $20.00 (race with a post race lunch in Lumsden)
(The lunch will take place at the Lumsden ball park around 1:30pm)
Course:
The race will start at 11:00am. Anticipate a 90-minute out-and-back style race. The race will start at Lumsden with an upstream portion to a buoy turn-around, then return back to the start/finish. Trailing boats get to turn around when they see anyone coming back downstream. If you are in contact with the lead pack, the entire pack must go around the buoy.
