The Eagle Point Classic hosted by the La Ronge Canoe Club on August 20th 2022, is a fun time with paddling camaraderie galore, good food and door prizes.
This year they plan to add a Voyageur Canoe category and there may be room for extra paddlers on a team. If you are interested please contact Kate at 306-280-1664. RMCC is proud to host the 2022 Marathon Nationals, in Lumsden Sask! The race will be on the mighty Qu’Appelle, a twisty turny river, going upstream, around a buoy turn, and returning to the start line. Races will be between 1.5 and 2hrs long. All raced included in the registration fee. Come and enjoy the Saskatchewan hospitality! July 17th & 18th 2021 Welcome back to the annual Saskatoon July Race Weekend! Although provincial health restrictions will be lifted, we plan to run a safer event without shuttling, all food and drink individually packaged, and sanitization procedures in place. All events will run from the Victoria Boathouse in Saskatoon. All ages (kids too!) and human powered boats welcome. Long and short course options available for each race. Registration and payment will be onsite (cash only please). Snack available and prizes awarded (by lottery) after the races. See you there! Group paddles are back!
Things may look a bit different this year with COVID protocols, but Wednesday Marathon group paddles are back. Group sessions will be Wednesday's @ 6:30pm starting and finishing at the boathouse. If you are new to Marathon or have questions, please direct them to the Marathon Director - [email protected] The Regina Marathon Canoe Club is hosting an upstream/downstream river race at the Qu'Appelle River in Craven, Saskatchewan. September 21, 2019, 1:30PM Join us and the beautiful fall scenery for a fun and competitive paddle. We will have a two phase start at race time:
Cost is $10 per person. We will host a complimentary snack and hydration bar after the race in conjunction with our AGM and major announcements for next season! The La Ronge Canoe Club’s annual canoe race to be held Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Eagle Point Marina.
There will be a 17.75-km race (with 3 portages) starting at 10:00 a.m. and a 7-km race (with no portages) starting at 11:00 a.m. You might also want to stay over to Sunday, August 25 when La Ronge’s annual Freeze, Breeze and Wheeze triathlon will be held. The triathlon starts Sunday at 11:00 a.m. it has a 500 metre swim, a 20-km bike and a 6-km run.
